As before, Andrew's Auction and Patty Zipp's Lucky Draw were the main events of the evening.
The amount raised for Hospice was R11 000 which beats the R6500 raised last year.
A big THANK YOU for all the donations.
The next meeting, which will include the AGM, will be on the second Tuesday of FEBRUARY 2017
About 30 members, their spouses and guests attended. Carl-Heinz and Meryl Queisser represented
Hospice and Kevin and Adele Lobb and Jeff and Gay Youthed were guests-of-honour. Carl-Heinz Queisser
spoke briefly about the work done by Hospice.
Andrew Stevens did another terrific job as auctioneer, supported by Peter Breetzke and Chris
Terry.
In addition to the "bargains" won at the Auction, many members went away with generous prizes collected
by Patty from local firms, including BUCO, Pennypinchers and A N White.
